Still so in Love

I was just looking through some pictures on my computer and discovered this engagement picture of us that I didn't remember that we had, and I LOVE it. Brian is so in Love with me... you can just see it. So cute.

Speaking of cute... let me tell you a story.

Last night Brian went to the ward Fathers and Sons overnight camping trip with his dad. It was our first night apart since we got married. I felt it was a pretty significant thing... and though I knew I could make it through it, I wasn't exactly excited for it, you know?

Well, I came home from work to an empty apartment. Brian had left already. I went to our bedroom to go change out of my work clothes and get into something more comfortable for the rest of the night... and this is what I found:
Our bed was made (which is a *VERY* rare occurrence, haha!) and...

He left me this! Complete with teddy bear sprayed with his cologne for me to snuggle with.

I cried.

Haha. It was awesome. When I told Brian that it made me cry, he was very pleased. Apparently that was what he was aiming for. Haha! I Love him so much!

And that's my cute little story.

Lately

It's been awhile since I've blogged...
because life has been insanely CrAzY busy!

Both of us starting work took some adjusting. I went from seeing Brian everyday to seeing him a few nights or mornings a week. It was quite the reality check, but I think we're both in the swing of things now and are able to make the most of the time we do get to spend together, so it's all good.

My job will be the death of me, I'm sure. I've never had a more stressful job. Management communication and organization are definitely lacking ... which causes confusion and inefficiency in everything we do. It's frustrating, but they pay me well because about 2 weeks after I started working they promoted me to Department Head over Home Accents... which means I'm full time and get payed more and I'll qualify for benefits soon... so despite the stress and frustration... I'll stick to it. I won't be working there forever. So I can handle it for now. :)

My dad came down a couple Saturday's ago and started helping me get my garden all ready to plant. I'm excited to grow my very own vegetables! Especially tomatoes. There's nothing like a fresh tomato sandwich. Mhhmmm.

Brian turned 22 last Sunday. And we got him an xbox 360. He was pretty excited about that.  We also ended up getting a new TV shortly after that. Our old one was a hand me down and worn out and it hurt my eyes... I've been wanting a new TV since we got married. Our new one isn't huge... it's a modest 26"... and perfect for us. I love it... Haha.

We also got to go spend Sunday night up at east canyon with my dad's side of the family. It's an annual trip over memorial day weekend. I love east canyon. Here's a picture that my mom took of us by the river. :)
