Being married...

is wonderful.

I really can't believe it's been 4 whole weeks. That's just crazy. Our wedding day was perfect. The sealing was beautiful. The reception was long and I was tired... but it was still wonderful, and the food was sensational, haha. (I still think my dad is crazy for taking that all on, but I love him for it). Our honeymoon was perfect. We went to St. George to get a break from all the cold snowy weather. It was just gorgeous down there. I love St. George. And I Love being married to Brian. Haha. :)

We've spent the last 4 weeks spending insane amounts of time together and loving every minute of it, because we both our currently unemployed and looking for work. Brian has been looking for a job since he got back from his mission and still hasn't found one. He's gotten close on a few, but in the end it's always the same story... sorry, but we've filled the position with someone else. Surprisingly, and quite crazy for me, I'm not worried about our lack of income at all. The jobs will come. I feel very strongly that the Lord is watching over us and will lead us to the jobs that will be the very best for our family. Not going to lie, I never thought it was going to take this long to find work... but I guess the Lord has other plans. So until then, we just keep on looking and applying and praying and trusting, and enjoying the time we get to spend together that most newly wed couples don't get.

Brian got accepted into UVU for fall semester... so he's been working on applying for financial aid for that. Pretty sure we're highly qualified for it. Haha. I'm still undecided on whether I'll be going back to school with him to finish my bachelors degree. I'm still undecided on what I want to be when I grow up... so... since I've already got all my generals done and my associate's degree... I feel until I decide my direction in school... going to school would be silly... but we'll see. We've still got plenty of time until fall semester starts for me to make up my mind. Haha.

So yeah.  That's about it for the update on what we've been up to. :)

  1. I like that getting married (your previous post) was stressful.... but Being Married is wonderful! You have a great way of looking at your jobless situation... looking at the extra time you get to spend together rather than focusing on getting the job..! Like you say... the job(s) will come. Love you both tons!! mom
